An ongoing project for Grub Gulch 41-49

In the summer of 2001, I started the paperwork to have the last remaining structure at the Fresno Flats townsite to be recognized as a Point of Historical Interest. That status was granted to the site as well as the building which has been determined to be what is left of the Old Missouri Saloon, by the State of California.

After discussion with the current landowner, a member of ECV, the building was donated to the Grub Gulch Chapter. Our intentions are to restore it to a habitable building, to use it as a meeting place as well as a restored historical structure.

Funding for this project is trying to be raised through different functions within our Chapter, however, most is coming from individual donations. We are hoping to solicit some of the other "Service" organizations in the area to help out.

This project began in August of this year, 2004. We hope to have it completed within the next two years.

I have placed a Paypal button at the bottom of this page to provide an opportunity to anyone viewing this site to help us reach our goal. ANY donation will be greatly appreciated. 100% of all monies raised will be used strictly for the rebuilding of the Missouri Saloon.
Any Chapter of ECV donating $100.00 or more will have a brass plaque with their Chapters name and number attached to the Donors Board of recognition, which will be displayed in the entry of the new building upon completion.
ECV member donations of $25.00 or more will receive a Sheepskin suitable for framing recognizing your generosity.
All major credit cards are accepted. Paypal is known internet-wide for it's honesty and security. It is also the preferred Escrow account for all E-Bay transactions. Registration is free and the service is very convenient for all online shopping.

Thank You in advance for your considerations.
